Philips Supports Tourism Industry in Bali, Encourages Municipalities and Hotel Operators to Become Greener

Philips representatives together with the Head of Hygiene and Landscape of Badung Municipality explain the partnership before the media today, during the “LED’s Go Green Bali Hotel” seminar attended by hotel Chief Engineers and operators. The seminar is a part of the “Kota Terang Hemat Energi bersama Philips LED” event, an initiative to encourage people to be more energy efficient.

Philips welcomes the initiative of Badung Municipality in beautifying various landscapes or city parks so people can visit them day and night.” The partnership between Philips and the municipality of Badung has a long history through the installation of the solar LED lights on the highway and the newly-built Nusa Dua – Tanjung Benoa toll road.
