Real Estate

Belmond today announced the appointment of Sébastien Samoye as Vice President of Real Estate. In his new role, Sébastien will play a key role in curating the ultimate travel collection for Belmond.




Sébastien has over twenty years of international experience working in asset management, finance and real estate, most recently in his own practice, CREO Advisory, but also with major hotel-owning companies such as Schroders Real Estate Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Marriott International. Having worked across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Sébastien has overseen an extensive portfolio of hotels during his career.

Sébastien started his career with Ernst & Young in 1998 after he obtained his master’s degree in Economics from the Facultés Universitaires Catholiques de Mons in Belgium and then joined the hospitality industry in 2006.
