- Could you give us a bit of a background on Rainbow Hills Golf Club. For instance, when the club was originally opened, who the designer was and if it’s gone through any recent renovations?
Rainbow Hills located in Sentul Area, the club has been established since 1995 and the design of Rainbow Hills Golf Club is a picturesque 27 holes mountain course layout, designed by the internationally recognized J. Michael Poellot Golf Design Group (JMP) with its leading designer is Robert Moore Jr.
For the recent renovations, The Rainbow Hills Golf Club rejuvenation plan begins at the end of 2014 to coincide with the opening of Stone Hills Course which is the latest 9 holes, followed by renovation of 2 previous Mountain and Forest course that includes upgrade on irrigation system, drainage, redo of all the bunkers and bridges, renovating halfway and by the end of 2016 also we open our new facilities The Pavilion and Practice Range.
- What is the target market of the club? Is Rainbow Hills a public or member’s only club?
Rainbow Hills is semi private golf club that allows guests to play on certain allotted times. From year 2016 onwards Rainbow Hills is targeting for inbound tourists.
- Would the club be considered a Championship course?
Our golf course is designed to host a Championship Tournament and for the last two years we have successfully held Indonesian Elite Amateur Championship which is a national tournament for Amateur Golfer in Indonesia which supported by Indonesia Golf Association (PGI)
- Are non-members allowed to play?
Yes they are on certain allotted times

- Is Rainbow Hills considered an exclusive club? What are some of the VIP functions of the club?
Rainbow Hills can be considered an exclusive club in terms of the of the premium facilities as well as the level of service provided to our customers.
The pavilion is an exclusive complex of 4 VIP Pavilions with the design resemblance those of private villas in Bali with natural touch and exclusive feel to fulfill the need for luxury and privacy is recently opened by end of last year. Each pavilion is equipped with an exclusive Locker room for maximum of 20 golfers, Living room with the view of our beautifully designed golf course and a spacious dining room with an artistic carved door partition perfect to give you a sense of ultimate privacy for a meetings or private gathering with your colleagues.
Also at the end of 2016 we finished introduced the renovated Practice Range with 24 outdoor bay on grass and 16 covered bays using a dual grass driving mat that made each swing feel soft and reduced the risk of tennis elbow injuries which usually suffered by the golfers. In addition,Our Practice Range is also equipped with Terrace Restaurant. This Terrace has a capacity of 100 seats with direct view to whole practice range and the surrounding mountains. It is suitable for golf gathering with 100 locker doors, showers and spaces. Registration, pairing, scoring, the event can be done apart from club house activities
- Are there any unique features at Rainbow Hills?
Rainbow Hills is the only golf course around Sentul area, with its natural scenery that gives you challenges and character for each hole, as well our premium service will give you a memorable experience during the round.
- Describe the F&B operations. Is the clubbed by non-golfers for business, as well as golfers?
Yes it is. Since we regularly held an exclusive corporate meeting that caters golf and complete F&B
