June 21-24, 2022

Interior.Architecture.Hospitality with textile innovations and “room scenarios” at the Heimtextil Summer Special

For the Summer Special, Heimtextil is organizing its widely acclaimed Interior.Architecture.Hospitality programme. The top-class knowledge and networking platform is aimed specifically at experts in contract furnishing.

Lectures and guided tours are planned, which will be curated and thematically accompanied by the partners AITDialog, bdia and World-Architects. "Hospitality trends meets sustainability" is also the motto at the Heimtextil Conference "Sleep & More". Another must are the Heimtextil Trends 22/23, which call for new ways of thinking under the motto "Next Horizons". The Heimtextil Summer Special from 21 to 24 June 2022 will once again be a must for all professionals in the fields of architecture, interior design, hospitality and design.

Scenarios in space: The Interior.Architecture.Hospitality LECTURES 2022

"Scenarios in Space" is the main theme of this year's Interior.Architecture.Hospitality LECTURES 2022. The curators of AITDialog are thus addressing the question of how spaces and their use have to change in order to be able to meet current and future challenges. Concepts such as mixed use and hybrid partial use of areas, longer life cycles for buildings, alternative forms of living and office landscapes will be discussed. The special focus is on the role that textiles play in the design of such forward-looking usage concepts. As an overarching theme, the approaches to sustainability, zero-waste, cradle-to-cradle and longevity flow into each of the themes. The keynote "textiles in progress" will be spoken by Jana Vonofakos from VRAI Interior Architecture.

The Interior.Architecture.Hospitality LECTURES will take place on June 22, 2022 from 3 p.m. in the Europa room (Hall 4.0 foyer). Members of the Chambers of Architects and Urban Planners receive continuing education points for participating.

Strong synergies: Heimtextil Summer Special, Techtextil and Texprocess

In June 2022, the Heimtextil Summer Special will start together with the Techtextil and Texprocess trade fairs. After a two-year break in events due to the pandemic, the trade fair trio will then offer an important and highly efficient overview of global trends, products and innovations. The synergies with Techtextil are particularly exciting for Heimtextil visitors. This shows both textile innovations whose functionalities are relevant for use in public spaces, care facilities or gastronomy, as well as developments in the context of a sustainable circular economy. The Techtextil and Texprocess trade fairs present over 1,300 exhibitors from 53 countries. Messe Frankfurt is expecting more than 950 exhibiting companies from 49 countries at the Heimtextil Summer Special.

The Heimtextil Summer Special will take place from 21 to 24 June 2022.
