The study by the travel experts at Bounce ranked the world’s most in-demand hotel chains based on the number of annual google searches to reveal the world’s most in-demand hotel chains.

Over the last 12 months, there have been 25,426,000 million worldwide Google searches for Holiday Inn, beating out premium hotel chains like Fairmont. This may be because the hotel chain is one of the most common in the world, operating in over 1000 locations in 54 countries.

DoubleTree by Hilton is the second most in-demand hotel chain according to global Google searches in the last year. The brand received 11,046,000 Google searches from all over the world over the last 12 months.


In third place Crowne Plaza is one the most in demand hotel chains in the world. The Intercontinental Hotel Group chain received 8,887,000 Google searches in the last 12 months.
