Three Hotels Unlock Prestigious MICHELIN Keys
This year’s MICHELIN Key Awards were announced in October 2025, following countless hours of anonymous and independent evaluation by the MICHELIN Inspectors. Like MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, MICHELIN Keys are only awarded to the most outstanding hotels, so Accor is delighted to reveal that two of its properties in Vietnam – Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, and Hotel de la Coupole Sapa – MGallery Collection – and one resort in Thailand – V Villas Hua Hin – MGallery Collection – were honoured with 1 MICHELIN Key.
MICHELIN commended Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, the 124-year-old heritage icon, for its ability to transport guests on a journey through time, while also subtly modernising to blend classic and contemporary styles. “Not every hotel can get away with using the word ‘legend,’ but there’s nothing else quite like the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi,” the MICHELIN Guide states.

Sofitel Luang Prabang was named as the #9 “Best Hotel” and #4 “Best Hotel Pool” in Laos, while Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort was honoured as the #9 “Best Beach Resort” in Indonesia, and Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences was recognised as having South Korea’s #5 “Best Hotel Pool.” In Vietnam, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi (#1) and Hotel des Arts Saigon – MGallery Collection (#5) were both selected among the country’s “Best City Hotels,” La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – MGallery Collection was named as the #4 Best Beach & Island Resort,” and Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery Collection was voted as the #4 “Best Upcountry Hotel.”
