Bali, Indonesia, 4 November 2025 – Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts, unveils its Festive Season of Wonder with considered experiences across the resort’s clifftop venues. From a Balinese-inspired tree lighting to Mediterranean Christmas dining, a starlit gala, and an oceanfront countdown, the programme brings together flavour, rhythm, and a generous sense of place.

The season begins with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, 3 December at the resort lobby. At the heart of the ceremony is Sthira Samsara, Umana Bali’s signature batik created in collaboration with Alleira Batik, Indonesia’s modern-heritage batik house known for refined craftsmanship. The tree’s design incorporates upcycled elements, an elegant nod to sustainability, heritage, and the spirit of renewal.

Afternoon Tea with Ocean Views at Oliverra

An elevated take on holiday tradition, served against sweeping ocean views. Guests are treated to a curated selection of sweet and savoury classics—panettone, stollen, smoked salmon tartlets, pandan madeleines, and warm scones with preserves and mascarpone.

Taste of Bali at Commune

As dusk falls, a traditional rijsttafel dinner unfolds with rhythm and warmth—celebrating Balinese flavours through a relaxed sharing-style format for families and friends.

Christmas Celebrations: From Mediterranean Elegance to Balinese-inspired Feasts

Across Oliverra and Commune, the culinary team—led by Executive Chef Ngurah Putra—presents two ways to celebrate: Mediterranean technique with Italian accents at Oliverra, and a Balinese-inspired one at Commune, all delivered with relaxed, ocean-view ease.

Christmas Eve Dinner at Oliverra

Guests are invited to a refined five-course festive menu shaped by Mediterranean technique with Italian accents, complemented by live strings and a Christmas choir. Priced at IDR 1,500,000++ per person; wine pairing available at IDR 2,200,000++ per person.

Archipelago Christmas Dinner at Commune

On 24–25 December, families gather for a sharing-style rijsttafel that brings Indonesia’s comfort flavors to the table—abundant, familiar, and designed for all ages. Priced at IDR 1,700,000++ per two persons; children 6–12 enjoy 50% savings, with an à la carte kids’ menu available.

Christmas Day Mediterranean Brunch at Oliverra

A vibrant, sun-lit brunch featuring raw-bar accents and antipasti, hand-rolled pasta, wood-fire signatures, generous roasts to share, and a sweet Mediterranean finish. Priced at IDR 850,000++ per person; alcoholic beverage package IDR 650,000++ per person; in-house breakfast upgrade to brunch IDR 495,000++ per person.

Guests can choose their celebration style—refined and starlit, or carefree by the coast.


New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner at Oliverra. On New Year’s Eve, a graceful course into midnight with sunset canapés, celebratory dishes, and live entertainment under the stars, leading to the countdown. Priced at IDR 2,600,000++ per person; children 6–12 enjoy 50% savings.


Oceanfront Countdown at Uma Beach House. The same evening, a lively seaside celebration with welcome canapés, vibrant performances, and prime views of fireworks over the water. Entrance IDR 200,000++ per person, inclusive of welcome canapés.


New Year’s Day Brunch at Commune. On New Year’s Day, ease into the year with comfort- forward classics and family-friendly warmth. Priced at IDR 850,000++ per person; alcoholic beverage package IDR 650,000++, or in-house breakfast upgrade to brunch at IDR 495,000++ per person.

Moments of Reflection and Renewal

From late December into early January, Lohma Spa anchors the season with morning rituals and restorative sessions—think group sound healing on key festive dates, Saunagus journey, and gentle aqua practices. Young guests are also welcomed into the season with Little VIPs activities, including cupcake and gingerbread decorating and hands-on creative workshops.
