Revealed on October 8th, 2025, the MICHELIN Guide Key awards marked a global expansion, revealing top hotel selections across North America, Europe, Asia, and nearly 100 new countries. In Indonesia, The St. Regis Jakarta and Bvlgari Resort Bali earned One MICHELIN Key and Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve was awarded the highest distinction of Three MICHELIN Keys.

“We are deeply honored that five MICHELIN Keys have been awarded to three of our hotels in Indonesia. This recognition belongs to our incredible teams and partners whose passion, dedication, and pursuit of excellence continue to redefine what hospitality can mean. It’s a powerful reminder that true luxury is not just found in what we build, but in how we make people feel, and that is at the heart of everything we do,” said Ramesh Jackson, Regional Vice President, Indonesia & Malaysia, Marriott International. “I am immensely proud of our teams who continue to pour their hearts into creating experiences that are both elevated and deeply rooted in local culture.”

The award-winning Marriott International’s properties in Indonesia included in the prestigious MICHELIN Key Awards are:

Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Since the opening of Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, in 2015, the resort has been dedicated to crafting rare journeys in Bali. Nestled in the spiritual heart of Ubud along the sacred Ayung River, the resort was constructed near a pristine plot of rainforest, brought together from multiple landowners for this exceptional project, all while preserving the natural environment. The architecture of the resort is inspired by indigenous Balinese villages, reflecting the region's rich culture and spirituality, as well as a 500-year-old temple located within the property.

The resort offers just 60 suites and villas, providing a personalized service, with each guest assigned a Patih, a butler, a title inspired by the ancient royal courts of Bali, an individual who served as an assistant to the king or queen. Patihs craft destinations' most rare journeys, from private blessings in thousands of years-old temples with a priest, to catching the first rays on the peaks of a mountain framed with views of magnificent lakes and mountains.

Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, redefines the culinary scene with four distinct dining concepts. Kubu features a zero-waste fine dining experience, using ingredients foraged within a 100-kilometer radius of the resort. Guests can also enjoy authentic Indonesian cuisine accompanied by traditional rituals and dance performances. Ambar Ubud Bar boasts a stunning cliffside location, offering breathtaking views and creatively crafted cocktails that celebrate the rich flora and fauna of Ubud, particularly through its signature Taru Pramana cocktail collection. Additionally, the private dining experiences known as Dining Beyond provide exquisite meals set by the river, in the rice paddies, or on the cliff.

The St. Regis Jakarta

The St. Regis Jakarta

The St. Regis Jakarta reflects the soul of Indonesia and celebrates the country's cultural achievements as they come to a delightful crescendo. Set within Jakarta’s Golden Triangle amongst the city’s three main business districts, the 5-star hotel is designed for the moment and built to last for generations with world-class amenities to recharge in the rooms or suites and the signature 24-hour butler service.

The hotel rethinks urban comfort and wellness with The St. Regis Spa, a two-story facility with six treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room, a whirlpool, and at the fitness center. The St. Regis Jakarta welcomes guests to relax and indulge at the Lounge, The Pool Bar, extraordinary dining venues, bars, and The Drawing Room with its signature Sabrage tradition. The hotel features expansive event venues or ballrooms including the Astor Court with coveted outdoor space, creating the perfect settings for bespoke weddings, meetings or gatherings.

Bvlgari Resort Bali
Bvlgari Resort Bali

Bvlgari Resort Bali

Bvlgari opened its 59-villa property in Bali in September 2006. The breathtaking natural beauty of this secluded setting is matched only by the exquisite design of Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts addition to the luxury group which debuted in 2004 with the opening of the Bvlgari Hotel in Milan. The three key elements that distinguish the Bvlgari Resort in Bali are its unique location, the blend of traditional Balinese style with dramatic contemporary Italian design, and the variety of services that have all been crafted with the same attention to quality that has always distinguished Bvlgari creations.

The Bvlgari Resort is located near the village of Pecatu and the stunning cliff-top site of the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple, on the island’s far southwestern tip. The Jimbaran Bay and the international airport lie approximately 20 kilometers north of the resort while Kuta, the touristy heart of Bali, is a 50 minute-drive. Uniquely positioned at more than 150 metres above the seashore, the resort offers unrivalled views across the Indian Ocean.
