Anantara, renowned for its immersive hospitality experiences, will unveil its first-ever safari tented camp — Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp — in April 2026. Suspended high above the banks of Zambia’s lifeline, the Kafue River, this remarkable sanctuary connects guests directly to Kafue National Park, the nation’s largest and oldest reserve.

Here, travellers are drawn into an untouched wilderness where wildlife thrives in harmony. As the river winds through wetlands, woodlands, and savannas, it nourishes one of Africa’s richest ecosystems. To protect this fragile environment, the camp stands 3.5 metres above the ground, supported by rosewood timber platforms and light structures that preserve the natural water flow and allow wildlife to roam freely beneath.

Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp defines secluded luxury with ten villas and three Horizon Terrace Suites, connected by softly lit, meandering pathways. Designed by MRS Studio (South Africa), interiors balance modern sophistication with cultural authenticity, featuring local materials, organic textures, and mid-century details inspired by the surrounding landscape.
