Belmond perpetuates the legendary legacy of Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, Venice with renowned architect Peter Marino, a longtime admirer of Venice and Chairman of the Venetian Heritage Foundation. 

His vision draws on three eras: the grandeur of Old Venice, the vibrant Dolce Vita of the 1950s and ‘60s, and the bold spirit of contemporary art and design. 

The 2025 season ushers in an elevated reimagining of the arrival experience with a new double-height, light-filled lobby – an inspired addition to the beloved original wooden reception. 

This phase also unveils thirteen redesigned rooms, including two Master Suites, Serenissima and Laguna, offering private salons, dining rooms, and panoramic lagoon views, and eleven Suites and Junior Suites with private balconies overlooking the Casanova Gardens. 

This initial reveal marks a transformative evolution of the hotel’s identity, blending historic relevance with modern comfort and sophistication. As Peter Marino notes, the aim is to "rekindle the magic" of a place that has long welcomed the world’s cultural elite and is an enduring symbol of Dolce Vita.

Hotel Cipriani and Dior proudly unveil two new iconic venues for the 2025 season: Il Bacaro Dior and a Dioriviera pop-up. Located on the lagoon with sweeping west-facing views of St. Mark's basin, Il Bacaro Dior is the first Dior Bar in Italy, offering an unrivalled vantage point to enjoy the city's famed sunsets. 

The bar is elegantly dressed in reinterpretations of Dior's iconic toile de Jouy, sketched on sophisticated bamboo furniture. Guests can indulge in a curated menu of cocktails and cicchetti, typical Venetian finger-food, crafted in collaboration with the Maison. 

The Dior pop-up at Hotel Cipriani has been adorned with lush tropical garden-inspired décor and works of art that echo the motifs of the toile de Jouy. 

It showcases the House's seasonal creations alongside an exceptional collection of hand-made furniture, meticulously woven by the artisans of Bonacina.

At Oro, Hotel Cipriani's Michelin-starred restaurant, Venetian cuisine is reimagined with vibrant creativity led by acclaimed Head Chef Vania Ghedini, under the culinary direction of culinary maestro Chef Massimo Bottura. Born in Ferrara, Ghedini, brings a fresh perspective and innovative culinary vision, shaped by her early beginnings in her grandparents' bakery, where her passion for Italian cuisine was first ignited. 

Now at the helm of Oro, she curates a refined dining experience that blends tradition with contemporary flair. Guests are invited to choose between an inspired tasting menu or an à la carte selection. Standout dishes include the “Homage to Carpaccio”, a bold reinterpretation of the iconic dish originally created by Giuseppe Cipriani, offering a modern take on a Venetian classic. 

The “Paris-Venice Lobster” pays tribute to the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express' menu. Finally, the poetic “Rise and Milk” dessert, infused with Moroccan notes and classic Italian nostalgia, is a heartfelt creation inspired by the recent birth of Chef Vania’s child.
