JAKARTA, 1 February 2024 – ONE Global Resorts, the hospitality investment and management platform of One Global Capital, announced its strategic steps to collaborate and form a partnership with OXO Living.

“After many years of meetings, both online and in person, we have finally reached an agreement to grow the ONE Global Resorts hotel management platform through this collaboration and business partnership with OXO Living. This is a very important strategic move, and I am glad that we can officially kick this off in 2024. Through OXO Living, our focus is to offer a unique experience through the boutique properties that OXO Living manages and develops,” said Iwan Sunito.

About OXO Living

OXO Group Indonesia is a boutique property development and management company with a vision to create an inspiring and rewarding lifestyle for guests and investors. Since its launch in 2015, OXO properties and experiences have become renowned for uncompromising standards, intelligent design, exceptional service, and a commitment to sustainability. Today, OXO manages nearly 30 properties across Bali — including private residences, villas, townhouses, studios, co‑working spaces, a resort, and a 20‑metre luxury yacht operating in Komodo National Park.

About ONE Global Resorts

ONE Global Resorts is the hospitality and serviced apartment management platform of One Global Capital Pty Ltd. It was founded on a vision to deliver architecturally inspired, spacious, and luxurious urban resort experiences.

The brand launched its first serviced apartment offering with Skye Suites in 2017, followed by additional locations in 2018 and 2019. Revenue has grown from AUD $4 million to over AUD $20 million by 2021. In 2024, ONE Global Resorts set a 7‑year goal to develop 1,000 new hotel rooms and grow its asset portfolio from AUD $200 million to AUD $1 billion. Upcoming projects include a 220‑room hotel in Macquarie Park (completion planned for 2027) and a 175‑room hotel in Chatswood (planned for 2028).

“Johannes Weissenbaeck is a creative genius and an amazing thought leader — someone I have been privileged to know and work with since the launch of V by Crown Group in Parramatta back in 2010,” Iwan Sunito added.

“This collaboration combines the strengths and expertise of both organisations. The ONE Global Resorts team brings deep experience in Sydney’s 5‑star hospitality sector through the SKYE Suites chain, which in just four years has built a strong brand and ranked among the top hotels in Sydney. Meanwhile, Johannes and his team bring specialist expertise in boutique property development and management, with a clear vision for delivering luxury lifestyle experiences through OXO Living in Bali. We share the same values, passion, and goals for creating and managing exceptional properties.”

“Bali is very special — it has been a turning point for me personally. We have now chosen Bali as our launchpad to expand ONE Global Resorts to the wider world,” said Iwan Sunito.

According to the Bali Tourism Board (BTB), the island’s tourism results in 2023 were outstanding, marking a strong recovery after the COVID‑19 pandemic. International arrivals in 2023 doubled compared to 2022, reaching 2,332,012 visitors, with projections estimating a total of 5.5 million foreign tourists by the end of the year. More than one million Australians travel to Indonesia annually, contributing approximately IDR 18 trillion (AUD $1.8 billion) to the local economy.

“Most importantly, this partnership gives us access to a large base of corporate and leisure clients — a major advantage for any properties we manage in Bali. I am truly excited to be working together with Johannes again,” Sunito concluded.

Johannes Weissenbaeck, CEO and Founder of OXO Living, also shared his enthusiasm: “I have known Iwan Sunito for over two decades, and he has been an inspirational figure to me personally.”

Johannes Weissenbaeck is a creative entrepreneur, visionary, and public speaker with more than 25 years of international business experience across the UK, Australia, Austria, Germany, and Indonesia. In late 2014, he relocated to Bali and developed OXO’s first property — the award‑winning luxury estate Villa Chameleon. Since then, he has grown OXO into one of Bali’s leading boutique property development and management firms.

“We share the same passion for creating sophisticated lifestyles through well‑designed properties — and that is the strongest foundation for this collaboration,” Johannes said. “This partnership also represents our contribution to Indonesia through cross‑border cooperation between Indonesia and Australia. The Indonesian government’s decision to grant visa‑free entry for Australian travellers to Bali starting in 2024 will bring even more opportunities for growth.”
