Grand Mercure opens its first property on the Island of the Gods in Bali

BALI, INDONESIA, 19 DECEMBER 2022 - Accor has introduced an exciting new era of premium, locally-inspired international hospitality to Bali with the opening of Grand Mercure Bali Seminyak, revealing fresh cultural perspectives and highlighting the rich heritage of Indonesia’s “Island of the Gods”.

Nestled 100 metres from the beach in Bali’s vibrant Seminyak district, surrounded by eclectic boutiques, quirky cafés, contemporary galleries, hip bars, stylish restaurants and more, this striking hotel puts this trendy neighbourhood – and the entire island – at guests’ fingertips. As the first Grand Mercure hotel in Bali, it will also bring the timeless spirit of Bali to life through its elegant interiors, which reflect the island’s classical wood carvings and geometric weaving patterns.



Executive Suite Ocean View The 269 rooms and suites range from 38 to 65 square metres in size, with the décor influenced by the traditional Balinese dancer’s headdress – one of the iconic symbols of the island’s culture. This unique style will be complemented by contemporary furnishings and state-of-the-art amenities, including a large LED TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a rain shower with a separate bathtub. Every Deluxe Room and Junior Suite features a balcony with garden views, and the Executive Suites offer panoramic ocean vistas.












Throughout their stay, guests can unwind in one of three shimmering swimming pools, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, or work out at the well-equipped fitness centre, while youngsters can have fun at the kids’ club and children’s pool. For complete well-being, the spa is set to launch soon and offers a selection of body therapies, including signature Balinese massages in candlelit treatment rooms. Batur, the premium all-day restaurant, serves authentic Balinese flavours and international favourites for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the Lagoon Pool Bar is an inviting space to sip cool cocktails and grab light bites.
