The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established property development company with a solid presence in Indonesia. Our client develops a wide range of mid-to-large scale real estate projects across various cities in the country from residential, office, retail, hotel, resorts, villas to mixed-development and integrated properties.
The Country GM handles the overall planning and development projects of several types of mixed use developments and will need to develop strategies to drive new development opportunities to the market. The Country GM will work closely with the senior leadership team in the HQ.
The Country GM will serve as the entity’s country head and is responsible in managing the P&L, annual budgets and reporting on performance against targets to the senior leadership team in the headquarters and will be reporting to the Group CEO.
Area of responsibilities but are not limited to:
- Operations management
- Property management
- Business development
- Sales and marketing
- Project management
- Project development
- Implementation of SOPs
- Risk Management
- Staff management
- Stakeholder management
- Vendor Management
- Academic background in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Project Management or Engineering
- 20 years of relevant and solid experience in Indonesia's real estate industry, property investments and property development
- Highly skilled in project development, property management, finance, investment and/or asset management
- Held a similar leadership position (MD, COO, GM, VP, VP level) over the last 10 years
- Experienced in broad type of property assets: residential (high rise apartments, villas), Commercial, Retail/Shopping centers to Hotel/Resorts related properties
- Involved in a mid-to-large scale project development from inception to post construction (full project lifecycle)
- Exposure to investment and asset management activities in the company
- Demonstrated a progressive career history in the earlier companies
- Property developer extensive experience is preferred
- Effective communication skills with the local team in Indonesia; hence excellent skills in the local language and English are vital
- Able to travel often in other cities in Indonesia, when needed
