About Us
ACME Roasters & Bakers is a small-scale artisanal bakery and coffee roastery on the joyful street of Pantai Pererenan. Our sister company is The Hula Cafe, located across the street. We offer a selected menu of breads and pastries, for sale in our (online) shop & for delivery.

Job Description
“Head Baker at ACME Roasters & Bakers”
- You will be responsible for daily operation of our bakery.
- Creating new menu items, scheduling staff, purchasing and making sure volume and quality meet expectations.
- You know how to set a welcoming vibe for staff and your priority will be to make each of our customers feel welcome.
- Ensuring workflow is optimal and the team feels at ease and confident to deliver high quality service.
- Being able to multitask in a busy environment, ensuring the bakery runs smoothly while managing back of house priorities. You know how to problem solve and you are capable to respond quickly to come up with creative, flexible solutions.
- Making sure the bakery is performing optimal. Overseeing the sales and providing insights and feedback on improvement of service, products and activities.
Responsibilities
- Hire and train staff
- Working together with our chefs to create and edit menus, responding to guest feedback / festive seasons , etc.
- Making sure all purchases are done correctly
- Ensuring bakery deliveries run smooth
- Keep record of income and expenses
- Provide feedback and insights for marketing and sales improvement
- Motivate staff and keep a friendly family culture
- Ensure that staff members are available for shifts and provide weekly work schedules
- Answering phone calls and messages, taking preorders and answering questions
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as head baker
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all staff
- Full-time position / 40 hours per week / 6 days (5 days is optional when all is running well)
