Los Angeles, March 10, 2026 – Following the success of the inaugural art programming last year, Dorchester Collection’s Los Angeles properties, The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air, have announced their distinctive exhibition calendar for 2026. Designed by art curator Lily Ackerman, founder of London based Ackerman Studios, in collaboration with CURA Art, the exhibition schedules will highlight specific themes to complement both properties’ individual aesthetic. The partnership further cements Dorchester Collection’s longstanding relationship with Lily Ackerman, who has overseen the art exhibition schedule at its London property, 45 Park Lane, since 2017.

‘WHERE LAND MEETS LIGHT’ AT THE BEVERLY HILLS HOTEL

‘Where Land Meets Light’ will take guests on a journey through the luminous atmosphere that has long defined California’s sense of place. Shaped by ocean air, shifting skies and California’s horizon, the exhibition series will showcase how distinctive light can transform how individuals feel and see.

The first of three exhibitions will showcase works from Berry Campbell, a contemporary art gallery in New York City, founded in 2013 by Christine Berry and Martha Campbell. The exhibition titled ‘A Conversation in Colour’ is a joint presentation of Yvonne Thomas’ works from the 1960s and 70s and Susan Vecsey’s paintings from 2014 to 2025. Having previously exhibited in New York, Paris, Montreal and across the United States, Yvonne’s work has evolved from cubist structures to gestural abstraction, characterised by lyrical brush work and her use of subtle atmospheric colour. Vecsey merges art and nature in lyrically mesmerising and elegant abstract paintings, rendered in a meticulous, labour-intensive method.

From now to June 7, 2026.

The second exhibition, in partnership with Fahey/Klein Gallery in Los Angeles, will display works by the influential 70s fashion photographer Arthur Elgort. Renowned for capturing models in natural and candid moments, Elgort pioneered a spontaneous movement driven approach to fashion photography. His work has appeared extensively across Vogue, both American and international editions, capturing celebrities and supermodels whilst transforming the fashion photography genre.

June 12 to September 27, 2026.

The Beverly Hills Hotel’s final exhibition within this programming will run from October showcasing the work of Cassandra C. Jones and Francesca Gabbiani. Living and working in Ojai, California, Jones weaves over digital photography to create layered visual narratives that reflect on contemporary life. Her artwork creates a space for growth, discovery and wonder, offering experiences that feel luminous, expansive and transformative. Gabbiani combines intricately layered cut paper, mixed media washes, and airbrush, with her own photographic documentation. Reminiscent of settings in science fiction, her philosophical approach depicts humanity secondary to the force of Mother Nature.

October 1, 2026 to February 15, 2027.

‘MONUMENTAL: CONVERSATIONS WITH SPACE’ AT HOTEL BEL-AIR

At the legendary hideaway, ‘Monumental: Conversations with Space’ will present a selection of sculptures which will recall the interplay between architecture and landscape, exploring how space and form define one another. Throughout the exhibition series, the installations will examine scale as a measure of ambition, intention and impact; as well as how sculpture can be used to change perception.

Coinciding with Frieze, the first exhibition by Anthony James will transform Hotel Bel-Air’s grounds with elegantly placed sculptures that address light, geometry and the sublime. Using mirrored glass, steel and LED James’ work creates reflective and illuminated portals which lie at the meeting point of art, architecture and light to introduce a meditative presence.

From now to June 14, 2026.

The second exhibition will present works by Brazilian sculptor Daniel Jorge, in collaboration with Dr Margarita Rosa, whose work explores the relationship between body, material and space. Using materials such as soapstone and metal, Jorge creates abstract forms that reflect Afro-diasporic identity, movement and belonging.

Launching June 19, 2026.

These exhibitions are offered complimentary and are open to the public.
