Outrigger Welcomes Honua Kai Resort & Spa to Portfolio Award-winning Maui accommodations added as part of hospitality group’s global growth strategy

HONOLULU – Outrigger Hotels and Resorts today announced the acquisition of Honua Kai Resort & Spa’s on-site resort rental program interests from affiliates of Alterra Mountain Company. The move highlights Outrigger’s commitment to increasing and enhancing its global portfolio, which includes 37 owned and/or managed hotels, resorts and vacation condominiums in Hawaii, Fiji, Thailand, Guam, Mauritius and the Maldives.

Honua Kai is a spectacular 38-acre oceanfront condo resort located on Maui’s renowned Ka`anapali North Beach – offering luxurious studio, one, two and three-bedroom suites alongside full-service concierge, Ho`ola Spa and Duke’s Beach House restaurant. The resort is expanding with a build-out of 72 luxury townhomes, scheduled for completion in 2020. All units previously managed by Alterra Mountain Company will operate under Hawaii Vacation Condos by Outrigger, effective immediately.
