Robin Lim is an internationally-recognized midwife, well-known author and talented poet. Her non-profit Indonesian birthing and educational clinics have saved hundreds of lives and delivered thousands of babies over the last decade, serving the poor and medically disenfranchised citizens of Bali and, far away, in the tsunami-ravaged province of Aceh, Sumatra. After 13 years of service and frequent financial challenges, "Ibu" (Mother) Robin and her organization remain indefatigably committed to changing the world, one gentle birth at a time. And she just Awarded byCNN Heroes of The Year 2011. And to help Ibu Robin Lim in serving more mothers who can’t afford to pay a doctor for giving birth, Waterbom Bali presenting Sound’s Of Life Charity Event “giving back to comunity with Robin Lim” to raised a fund for her non benefit foundation called “Bumi Sehat Medical Center”.

In order to help Ibu Robin Lim continue aiding more financially struggling mothers who cant afford to pay for doctors to deliver their babies, Waterbom Bali presents Sounds Of Life giving back to the community with Robin Lim, a fund raising event for her non-profit foundation Bumi Sehat’. All profits and proceeds will go directly to the development of her new medical birthing clinic center. Cut Chemist (a founding member of the legendary Jurassic 5 & well renowned band Ozomatli) will be dazzling all attendees with his brilliant audio/visual blowout! The turntablist extraordinaire will bring his envelope-pushing live show to Bali following the end of his Australian ‘Sound of the Police tour. ABC NEWS (US) describes his show as, ‘A whirling, groovy, funkified collection of African beats, horns, melt-your-face-off bass lines and some good old hip-hop ingenuity’. In addition, there will be a fine line up of supporting performances to keep everyone entertained.
