The Hotel Week Indonesia to Connect Hospitality Players From Asia Pacific

Jakarta will host an annual hospitality exhibition, The Hotel Week Indonesia, to connect the sector's players in Asia Pacific, the event's organizer said in a statement on Friday (08/09).

Taking place at the Jakarta Convention Center on Nov. 23-25, The Hotel Week, held by local event organizer CNG Media & Events, will offer a business-to-business trade show themed "One-Stop Global Resource for Hotel & Hospitality Industries."

"It will be good if Indonesia, an archipelagic nation that offers various tourism potentials, hosts [more] events like this one, organized by our own people," said Alexander Naoyan, chairman of the Jakarta Hotel Association, which has over 40 four- and five-star hotels in the capital city as its members.
Alexander said those with businesses supporting hotel operations, like laundries or food and beverages companies, can take advantage of the event to introduce their products to the world.
"We serve as a platform for interaction and insight, sharing knowledge with those involved in hospitality-related businesses: hotels and resorts, restaurants, cafes, food and beverages services," CNG Media co-founder Henry Keiln said in the statement.
CNG Media said the event will also showcase new trends in the industry and will offer unique business opportunities to exhibitors from various hospitality-related backgrounds, including luxury residential buildings and offices, catering services, food and beverage services, restaurants, airlines, hospitals, and companies from the health and fitness industry.

Representatives from government agencies, ministries and major hotel associations in the country will participate in the exhibition.

Henry said the event will also feature an international forum to discuss investment trends in the region.

CNG Media expects more than 25,000 professionals from the industry to participate in the event that will be supported by the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, and a number of organizations, including the Jakarta Hotel Association, the Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI), the Hotel Front Liners Association, the Indonesian Housekeepers Association, the Hotel Information Technology Association (HITA), the Bali Hotel Association and the Indonesia Hotel Engineers Associaiton (ASATHI).
