The inaugural Asian edition of London’s greatest gourmet trade event will take place in Singapore in July 2017. Heralded as the market-leading trade show for speciality F&B industry players in UK, the Specialty & Fine Food Fair has been providing a dedicated platform for gourmet, artisan and premium food producers and suppliers to meet with key trade buyers from across Europe for the past 17 years.
Speciality & Fine Food Asia will mirror the dynamic UK concept and host top attractions such as Fine Food Live (chefs’ demo theatre), Speciality Chocolate Asia, Start-Up Village (a dedicated zone showcasing the finest up-and-coming artisan food producers), and a Business Mentoring Area.

RPB Asia 2017 is Southeast Asia’s first dedicated trade show for the restaurant, pub and bar industry. Held at Suntec Singapore from 18th to 20th July 2017, it will bring the trade together for three days of focused business, networking and shared inspiration. Meet restaurant, pub and bar owners and managers; observe award-winning bartenders and baristas in their element; see the latest equipment for the kitchen, back bar and front of house; taste selections of fine and vintage wines, rare spirits, and hand-roasted artisan coffee and tea; and learn about new and upcoming brands in the industry. RPB Asia is co-located with Speciality & Fine Food Asia, the Asian edition of London’s greatest gourmet event.
Fresh Montgomery, the international food and drink event specialists, and its sister company, Montgomery Asia, are launching a new trade event aimed at the hospitality sector in Southeast Asia. Restaurant, Pub & Bar Asia (RPB Asia) will take place at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18-20 July 2017.
Speaking about the launch, Christopher McCuin, Montgomery’s group Business Development Director, commented: “In recent years the on-trade sector has enjoyed significant growth throughout the entire region, with Singapore in particular catching the eye when it comes to fine dining experiences and award-winning bars.”
Singapore currently boasts four of the top ten bars across all of Asia, but the Southeast Asian region as a whole is fast gaining a reputation for excellence, design and creativity.
McCuin continued: “Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore all feature in Asia’s top 50 restaurants this year, and the pub and bar sector is also gaining strength, especially with the rising interest in artisan spirits and craft beer. The time is right to bring the entire trade community together for an event where owners, managers, sommeliers, baristas, mixologists, chefs and their staff can explore the very best that a dedicated live event can offer.”
For its first outing in July 2017, RPB Asia will run alongside Montgomery Asia’s Speciality & Fine Food Asia event which presents the very best in premium and artisan, fine food products to the trade. Organising the two events side by side at Suntec will bring an even greater relevance for visitors who will be able to explore both trade shows at the same time.
Montgomery Asia are already in discussion with a number of top trade associations throughout the region and expect to announce partnerships over the coming weeks.
